CU Wizards Program
David Nesbitt directs the CU Wizards Program which, for over three decades, has presented free shows that teach children about the wonders of science. One Saturday morning each month, renowned CU Boulder professors and members of the community host interactive shows on the CU Campus. The shows are geared toward children and young adults in grades K-12, but everyone in the community is welcome to join in. CU Wizards audiences are quite large, Wizards often present to over 200 young people and many of them are newcomers to the Wizards shows. CU Wizards brings in professors from across the sciences and provides undergraduates, graduate students, and post-docs alike the opportunity to get involved in the local community.
