The first remote dissertation defenses are here at JILA on January 29th between 11:30 and 12:30 virtually. These dissertations are designed for doctoral and masters students, as well as their faculty advisors. This workshop, presented by Leslie E. Blood, Director of the Graduate Community and Professional Development, will provide useful information to ensure a successful defense, specifically for remote thesis defenses.
