Jan Hall Wins Governor's Award for High-Impact Research

Nobel Laureate Jan Hall

Jan Hall will receive one of four Governor's Awards for High-Impact Research from CO-LABS at a reception and dinner on October 25, CO-LABS announced on October 7. Hall will receive the Foundational Technology award for a lifetime of work on the nature of laser light and the development of frequency combs. Hall was awarded the Nobel Prize in Physics in 2005 in recognition of this work.
