Event Details & Abstract: 

In this talk I will discuss my recent work on few-body physics with periodically driven interactions.  Within the context of the two-body problem, I will demonstrate how the driving can shift the scattering length. For certain parameters of the drive, resonances occur where the scattering length can be made infinite. I will then move to the three-body problem.  Specifically, I will discuss the heavy-heavy-light system (within the Born-Oppenheimer approximation, where it is largely analytically solvable). I will introduce a mechanism (created by the driving) that allows a level of tunability of parameters of the three-body problem, including the inelasticity parameter.
