- Position: Senior Research Associate
- Short Biography: I work in the Ye lab's femtosecond comb
group, specifically on the XUV comb project. I'm primarily interested in optical clocks and the transfer of coherence over large bandwidth and distance. I did my undergraduate work at the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology (ETH) in my hometown, Zurich, Switzerland. I did graduate and post doc work at the University of Karlsruhe, in Karlsruhe, Germany, MIT, and the National Institute of Advanced Industrial Science and Technology/NMIJ in Tsukuba, Japan. I'm delighted to be here at JILA; it offers great minds, a great infrastructure, and a perfect environment in which to work.

- Short Biography: I work with the Ye lab's femtosecond group and have come to JILA on a Humbolt Fellowship. My area of interest is frequency combs and all the great things you can do with them. I did my undergraduate work at the Technical University of Munich and received my Ph.D. from the University of Konstanz in Konstanz, Germany.

- Phone: (303) 492-5237
- Short Biography: Currently I'm working on the strontium
optical lattice clock and, in particular, I'm building a new apparatus that will be used to create a 3-D optical lattice clock. I did my undergraduate
work at Wellesley College, in Wellesley, Massachusetts and received my Ph.D. from MIT. There I worked in Wolfgang Ketterle's and Dave Prichard's lab and studied rubidium Bose-Einstein condensates in optical lattices.

- Phone: (303) 492-8498
- Short Biography: I work with the Ye lab's cold molecule group. I'm specifically
interested in producing ultracold polar molecules. I did my
undergraduate work at Bonn University in Germany and completed
additional work at the University of Fribourg in Switzerland.
My Ph.D. is from the University of Hamburg.

- Phone: (303) 492-7788
- Short Biography: I joined the Ye lab because I'm especially interested in comb techniques
for precision control of cold molecules. I did my undergraduate work in
physics and computer science at Tel Aviv University in Israel and received
my M.Sc. and Ph.D. in physics at the Weizmann Institute of Science, which is
located in my home town, Rehovot.

- Phone: (303) 492-0931
- Short Biography: I am a member of the Ye lab's cold molecule group. I joined the group, in
particular, because of the polar molecule project the lab is working on. I
got my Ph.D. from the University of Connecticut. Before I came to US, I
did my undergraduate work in University of Science and Technology, Beijing
and my master work in Peking University.
